I enjoy a nice glass of wine most evenings so I have opened my fair share of wine bottles. I have tried a variety of wine openers and I have to say that I really like the X-Chef Wine Bottle Opener. The wine opener is very intuitive and easy to use plus it works great. I don’t like having to work just to open a bottle. This opener screws in with easy and pulls the cork out with little effort. To use the opener you just place the wine opener over the neck of the bottle and beginning twisting the top. The corkscrew will lower into the cork and at the same time the arms on the opener will raise. Once the corkscrew is fully in the cork you just press down on both arms. This will cause the corkscrew to raise the cork out of the bottle. I have used this over a handful of times and I have never had any issues with cork pieces in the wine. The opener also comes with a stopper which comes in handy. Overall this is a great wine set.
