My family goes to a lot of get-togethers and most require us to bring food and drinks. In the past we usually just threw everything into grocery bags and hoped that someone had extra room in their cooler. Obviously the game of chance didn’t always work so I started to look for something large enough to hold what we would take, but it also had to be easily portable. I came across the Allendales Picnic Basket Insulated Lunch Cooler Bag and thought it would be the perfect size to fit our needs as well as easily transport so I decided to order it.
The bag arrived and it is better than I expected. The bags can easily fit two six packs of bottles with plenty of room to spare around and above them. The bag is a red nylon on the outside and a white waterproof material on the inside. The bag is insulated which you can feel by squeezing it. There are three pockets on the outside of the bag; a zippered pocket in the front, a Velcro pocket on one side and a mesh pocket on the other side. The bag is equipped with two strap options. There are handles on the front and back which can be strapped together or there is a longer shoulder strap which is removable. My favorite feature of the bag is the flip open Velcro flap on the top which lets you quickly and easily reach into the bag to grab a drink. This cooler bag far exceeded my expectations and it’s been great for our summer adventures.
